Exeter West box is open to the public at weekends (and on Bank Holidays) from the beginning of April to the end of October (see below) and is part of The Crewe Heritage Centre

Admission is £8 for an adult or £15 for a family ticket.

The Crewe Heritage Centre is about fifteen minutes walk from Crewe railway station. Turn left outside the station into Nantwich Road and proceed to crossroads with Mill Street and turn right. Turn right again, at a roundabout, and right again at the next roundabout and follow road past Tesco car park to Crewe Heritage Centre entrance.

2019 DATES

During 2019 Exeter West will be open every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from 6 April to 27 October.

SIGNALLING GALA

On the weekend of 15 and 16 June 2019 the Group will be staging a signalling gala at the Crewe Heritage Centre. This will be geared towards ‘traditional’ British Railway signalling and will provide an ideal opportunity for signalling enthusiasts to meet up and talk shop.
